TGN: Bold Change

A little late delivery, but hopefully right on time for your spirit!
**********************************************************************
Prayer (for you to pray as it applies to you or someone in your life): Father help Your children walk in Christian love and peace. We really do get so distracted by things of this world, that we lose sight of what is most important... You. Forgive us Father, and thank You for not allowing our mistakes to condemn our spirits and souls. We're very hard on ourselves at times, that we forget, the compassion, understanding, all-knowing, yet still forever loving God that You are. Thank You for who You are. For You are Great and greatly to be praised. For You are real and the most uplifting Presence in our lives. Thank You for always bringing us back to You LORD. I'm so honored to know You. In Jesus' name I humbly pray, believing that You hear us and that we are guaranteed to receive every spiritual blessing from heaven. Amen.

DEATH & RESURRECTION OF JESUS, THE KING

Matthew 27

The Burial of Jesus v. 57-61

As evening approached, there came a rich man from Arimathea, named Joseph, who had himself become a disciple of Jesus. Going to Pilate, he asked for Jesus' body, and Pilate ordered that it be given to him. Joseph took the body, wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and placed it in his own tomb that he had cut out of the rock. He rolled a big stone in front of the entrance to the tomb and went away. Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were sitting there opposite the tomb.
----

Joseph of Arimathea was a secret disciple of Jesus. He was a religious leader, an honored member of the high council (mark 15:43). In the past, Joseph had been afraid to speak against the religious leaders who opposed Jesus; now he was bold, courageously asking to take Jesus' body from the cross and to bury it. The disciples who publicly followed Jesus had fled, but this Jewish leader, who followed Jesus in secret, came forward and did what was right.

Is there any small or large area in your life that you're not doing what is right for the sake of the one and only God you serve. I can think of a thing or two (three, four, or five lol). Let's repent of these specific things. Let us ask God's Spirit for instantaneous help (and believe it). And let's make bold moves of change in those areas. There's no better day then today!
