When Do You Give Up On God

Today is a new day, a new week- a new opportunity  to do whatever God has encouraged you to do.  Maybe it's working out, eating right, writing a book, speaking to someone; whatever it is today may be the time to do it.  Pray about it and receive your conformation.  But don't be discourage because you maybe missed doing it last week.  You're still living, your opportunity is still here to conquer your fears and obtain your God given dreams.
Love-LT

PRAYER: YES, LORD- You will work it (whatever the situation is, name it!) out.  I know You have already worked it out, I just need to walk into the goodness You have  already established for me.  I do feel like giving up at times, but I won't-I can't.  You won't give up on me.  Like the song says: Great is Your mercy towards me. Your loving kindness towards me.  Your tender mercy I see, day after day.  Forever faithful towards me, always providing for me, Great is Your mercy towards me.  Great is Your Grace!  Hallelujah.  In Jesus name I pray, amen.

MATTHEW 15: 29-39

JESUS FEEDS THE FOUR THOUSANDS:
The feeding of 4,000 in this chapter is a separate event from the feeding of the 5,000 in Matthew 14.  It is confirmed by Mark 8:19,20.  This was the beginning of Jesus' expanded ministry to the Gentiles (non-Jews).

(v.29-39) Jesus left (the area where He healed the Canaanite woman's daughter) and went along the Sea of Galilee. Then he went up on a mountainside and sat down. Great crowds came to him, bringing the lame, the blind, the crippled, the mute and many others, and laid them at his feet; and he healed them. The people were amazed when they saw the mute speaking, the cripple made well, the lame walking and the blind seeing. And they praised the God of Israel.
Jesus called his disciples to him and said, "I have compassion for these people; they have already been with me three days and have nothing to eat. I do not want to send them away hungry, or they may collapse on the way."
His disciples answered, "Where could we get enough bread in this remote place to feed such a crowd?"
"How many loaves do you have?" Jesus asked.
"Seven," they replied, "and a few small fish."
He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. Then he took the seven loaves and the fish, and when he had given thanks, he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people. They all ate and were satisfied. Afterward the disciples picked up seven basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was four thousand, besides women and children. After Jesus had sent the crowd away, he got into the boat and went to the vicinity of Magadan (Mary Magdalene's hometown).

Jesus had already fed more than 5,000 people with five loaves of bread and two fish.  Here, in a similar situation, the disciples were again perplexed.  How easily we throw up our hands in despair when faced with difficult situations.  Like the disciples, we often forget that if God has cared for us in the past, He will do the same now.  When facing a difficult situation, remember that God cares for you and trust Him to work faithfully again.
Praise God no matter your circumstance.

PONDER THIS:
ARE YOU FACING A DIFFICULT SITUATION? HAS GOD TAKEN CARE OF YOU IN THE PAST?

ACTION:
REMEMBER THAT GOD CARES FOR YOU. TRUST HIM TO WORK FAITHFULLY IN YOUR LIFE (IN EVERY SITUATION)!
